The Order of the Red Circle consists of:
Donaar, a Dragonborn Paladin of Kelemvor,
Travok, a Dwarvin Cleric of Kelemvor,
Scapin the Sly, a Halfling Rogue &
myself - En'Kethradath, an Eladrin War Wizard.
We were approached to deliver an enchanted scroll to one Inius Olger, the owner of the Saerb Cobble Shoppe in Sembia. The signal for our approach was for him to light a torch outside his shop at dusk. We were to then to follow him into his shop and deliver the scroll. We were sitting in the Inn across the street from the cobbler's when Inius exited his shop with a torch. He was suddenly surrounded and attacked by several men wearing Netherese uniforms.
We helped the cobbler best we could but one of the men fled blowing a whistle to bring reinforcements. He threw a dagger at Travok and it embedded into the pole of his banner. Inius told us to travel to the capital of Cormyr, and deliver the scroll there. He then gave us 50 gold each with the promise of more upon delivery of the enchanted scroll.
We quickly escaped the town through acrobatic prowess, cunning and guile (and dwarven drunkenness) and headed for the woods on the outskirts of town where we met up again to travel to Suzail by stealth.
Whilst in the woods we came upon a camp in a decrepit old tower, probably once a lookout. The camp was currently occupied by Hobgoblins, planning to attack the outlying villages. We dispatched them and took their four horses to travel that much faster and found 80 gold pieces. We rested for the night.
